UCA Representative Participates in Ukraine Reconstruction Forum in Vienna
Development Manager at the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA), participated in the Ukraine Reconstruction Forum, held on April 25, 2025, in Vienna. Advantage Austria organized the event in cooperation with the European Commission, Enterprise Europe Network, and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ).
Purpose of the Forum
The forum served as a major European platform to:
- foster business connections between Ukrainian and European companies,
- discuss opportunities for private sector involvement in Ukraine’s recovery,
- present financial instruments and mechanisms from international financial institutions (IFIs),
- showcase practical solutions in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, logistics, healthcare, construction, digitalization, and innovation.
The event brought together more than 300 participants from Ukraine and EU countries, including business associations, donors, IFIs, and governmental representatives.
UCA’s Participation
Representing the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, Andrii Borodiuk:
- held B2B meetings with potential partners from Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Baltics;
- joined sessions with IFIs introducing financial tools and cooperation formats;
- advocated for the role of clusters in enabling reliable and transparent collaboration with local businesses.
“UCA’s participation in such events is crucial. It helps present Ukrainian innovation communities and SME manufacturers as reliable partners in the recovery process,” said Andrii Borodiuk. “We see great potential in making these forums systematic — focusing on real market needs, solution profiles, and long-term cooperation models.”

Next Steps
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance will continue engaging in European platforms that connect the private sector with Ukraine’s recovery initiatives. The next step involves preparing a portfolio of innovation-driven projects for presentation at similar events in the Visegrád countries.

The Czech office of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) was represented at the event by its head, Andrii Borodiuk, who presented opportunities for cooperation with Ukrainian clusters, technology partners, and manufacturers.
Through its presence in the Czech Republic, UCA provides practical support to companies, agencies, and associations in:
- identifying reliable partners in Ukraine — at the level of clusters, businesses, or R&D institutions;
- participating in international projects and recovery initiatives;
- adapting solutions to market realities and local needs.
We strongly believe that open, cross-sectoral, and action-oriented formats like this are key to building sustainable and effective international partnerships for Ukraine’s future
