About Office in Brno.
In October 2024, the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) established its first representative office in Central and Eastern Europe, located in Brno, Czech Republic. This milestone was achieved through the joint efforts of UCA, its member AIM Group, and the Brno Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Brno). The office’s opening is also a result of six business missions to the Czech Republic conducted by UCA between 2022 and 2024, with the support of key Czech partners, including CzechInno, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
About the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA)
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) is a national association uniting 44 Ukrainian clusters, representing more than 2,500 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various industries and regions of Ukraine. UCA’s mission is to strengthen the Ukrainian cluster movement, supporting SMEs in their growth and integration into European and global value chains.
UCA leads coordinated national-level initiatives across all major Ukrainian industries, focusing on:
- Smart specialization and innovation
- Deeper integration into European value chains
- Digital transformation and green transition
To support its members, UCA provides strategic services and networking opportunities, including business and trade missions, cluster-to-cluster (C2C) matchmaking, and access to European platforms like ECCP and EEN. Additionally, UCA operates two dedicated platforms for matchmaking and innovative fundraising, leveraging partnerships with international organizations.
UCA’s Office in Brno: Strengthening Czech-Ukrainian Cooperation
The primary mission of UCA’s Brno office is to foster and expand business partnerships between Czech and Ukrainian organizations in Smart Industries, with a focus on Manufacturing, Energy, Infrastructure, and Transport. Acting as a central contact point, the office represents the interests of UCA clusters and private companies supporting its activities.
The establishment and operation of the Brno office are backed by AIM Group and IT-Enterprise, both members of APPAU, an industrial automation cluster within UCA.
