Collaboration with Czech organizations plays a key role in developing innovation processes, digital transformation, and economic integration of Ukraine into the European market.
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) office in Brno partners with leading Czech associations, clusters, and expert organizations that drive industrial ecosystems, cybersecurity, digital innovations, and international trade.
CzechInno was founded in response to the challenges of post-crisis economic development, which increasingly focuses on the knowledge economy, innovation, and modernization of production processes. The association’s mission is to develop and promote innovation and everything directly related to the 21st-century knowledge economy. CzechInno organizes numerous events that foster cooperation between businesses, research institutions, and government agencies in the Czech Republic and beyond.
Industry Cluster 4.0 is a leading association of engineering and IT companies, primarily from the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic. Its main goal is to enhance the competitiveness and innovation capabilities of its members through the implementation of the “Industry 4.0” concept. Currently, the cluster includes nearly 30 companies working together to develop advanced digital and automation technologies.
NCA is an influential organization representing the interests of cluster structures in the Czech Republic. It plays a key role in supporting innovation and improving cluster competitiveness, as well as in their interaction with Czech and EU governmental institutions. Additionally, NCA is actively involved in Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), RIS3 strategies, and other modern initiatives aimed at fostering technological advancement.
CyberSecurityHub CZ is a specialized cybersecurity organization founded by three leading Czech universities. Its primary mission is to build an innovation ecosystem that strengthens security and resilience through cutting-edge research, expert services, and the development of cybersecurity infrastructure.
Aid4Trade is an international initiative that supports trade, economic cooperation, and business development between European and global markets. It facilitates trade facilitation, access to finance, and increased enterprise capacity within international supply chains.
Through these partnerships, UCA is able to expand opportunities for Ukrainian companies, facilitating their integration into the European market, supporting innovation, and fostering international cooperation.
UCA Clusters
The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) unites over 40 organizations across Ukraine, including clusters, development agencies, and analytical centers. These organizations drive the transformation of Ukrainian industry and its integration into European markets and innovation ecosystems. In the Czech Republic, UCA’s interests are represented through the following key initiatives.
Objective: Supporting Ukrainian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in their digital and green transition, aligning with European standards and the Twin Transition strategy.
Participating Clusters:
- APPAU (Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine) – the national association and leader of Industry 4.0 in Ukraine, bringing together over 60 local companies.
- Ukrainian Industrial Cluster – represents 10 leading manufacturers in metalworking, mechanical engineering, and hydraulic equipment.

- End-2-End Engineering / PLM.
- Cybersecurity.
- Data Space.
- AI & Robotics.
- Twin Transition Roadmap.
Objective: Developing defense innovations and integrating Ukrainian MilTech companies into European and global defense supply chains.
Participating Clusters:
- Dual-Use Technologies Cluster – unites 15 manufacturers in the Dual-Use and MilTech sectors.
- IRON Tech Cluster – includes 70 MilTech manufacturers, specializing in drones, MLRS (multiple launch rocket systems), and electronic warfare (EW) technologies.
- Ukrainian Maritime Cluster – consists of 35 companies, specializing in shipbuilding, marine engineering, and the development of maritime drones.
