Kyiv, December 4, 2024 – The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) has officially joined AIM Global, the Global Alliance on Artificial Intelligence for Industry and Manufacturing. This strategic partnership underscores UCA’s commitment to promoting the safe, sustainable, and inclusive use of AI in the industry.

Coordinated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), AIM Global is dedicated to the responsible deployment of AI and frontier technologies. As part of the global initiative “Our Common Agenda,” AIM Global envisions an open, secure, and beneficial digital future for everyone.

AI technologies are transforming the industrial landscape, creating new opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. As a new member of AIM Global, UCA is proud to contribute to the mission of unlocking AI’s full potential for industry.

UCA already has a strong foundation in AI development for industrial applications, leveraging expertise from the Kharkiv IT Cluster, APPAU (Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine), and other industrial high-tech clusters. UCA also collaborates with a network of partner European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH). A dedicated UCA working group, AI & Robotics, consolidates cluster positions, engages developers, and disseminates best practices among industrial players.
